Exceptional High Frequencies
Andromeda utilizes a unique approach to achieve its soaring high frequency response. Our TAEC system’s high frequency extension is unattainable using conventional techniques.
Clear and refined high frequencies are produced. Superior micro detail and imaging.
Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber™
Dual high frequency drivers discard a traditional ‘tube & damper’ tuning system for our new Tuned Acoustic Expansion Chamber™ (TAEC). 3-D printed chamber provides the acoustic tuning without compression. As a result, high frequencies are extended and open, providing an unmatched sonic quality unique to Campfire Audio earphones.

Andromeda combines all of the best elements of our earphone design experience into a single set of earphones.
The result is a remarkable and unique sounding earphone with superior top-to-bottom coherence.
Andromeda exudes confidence in its handling of musical detail. It has high frequency extension that makes cymbals sparkle and expand past your listening horizon. Mids are fully resolved and uncolored. And the bass is extended and balanced; rich in texture and well defined.
Fit and Finish
Andromeda is offered in a signature green anodized finish.
The aluminum shells are first expertly blasted with a Zirconium material to achieve a smooth finish. It also prepares the surface of the shells to more effectively hold the color from the anodizing process. This way the signature green will remain eye catching for the life of the earphone.
Our custom Beryllium Copper MMCX eliminates the traditional shortcomings of the connection and harnesses all of its benefits.
Beryllium Copper provides a robust mating mechanism that is typcially made from soft brass. This extends the life of compoent and the earphone.
The extended life of the part makes replacing or upgrading your earphone cable care free because you know this will not wear out the mating pins. The MMCX also give you the ability to spin the earphone a full 360 degrees to find the best fit for your ear.
The ergonomic shape of the design offers an easy to wear and comfortable fit. The hard anodized finish makes for a great looking earphone. It is durable and ready to stand up to demanding daily use. The Andromeda’s lightweight design is ideal for all day listening sessions.
Precision Machined Housing
Improves the sonic performance of the earphone by reducing vibrations that induce sonic distortion. The shells extend the life the earphone by offering protection from drops. They offer piece of mind that your earphone won’t crack when in your pocket.
Our shells are machined by a good friend Gary at his shop in Medford Oregon, just a short drive south of our workshop.
The shells are produced in small batches and inspected individually to insure each body and lid meets our exacting standards. After each part is machined, it is mechanically inspected to be sure the part is within our established parts standards. Each part is then visually inspected for any blemishes. The passing parts are then packed individually into new egg crates, sourced from the local farm.
