rich, cohesive sound

The single, full-range dynamic driver configuration is a staple of the IEM world. A pure, straightforward approach, the single DD creates top-to-bottom cohesion accross the frequency spectrum, while Campfire's renowned Dual-Magnet DD + acoustic treatment impart excitement, impact, and infuse your tracks with undeniable, foot-tapping energy.

Interior

A Campfire fan favorite, the Dual Magnet DD has built a reputation as highly capable and uniquely engaging. Its large, powerful diaphragm creates rich, warm, transients alongside incredible texture, deep-reaching lows, and smooth, detailed highs.

Cascara's dynamic driver is paired with carefully engineered acoustic geometries to shape the sonic response and further highlight the natural strengths of this technology.

Cascara's vented design balances air-pressure and volumes to ensure even diaphragm movement and maximize driver performance while also assisting with inner-ear air pressure.

designed, engineered, and assembled by hand in portland, or.

Cascara is designed and engineered from top-to-bottom by Campfire's three-person engineering team from our sole location in the heart of Portland, Oregon. Each set of Cascara is assembled by hand by our skilled production team, tested, packed, and shipped from the very same location.

Exterior

Cascara uses an aggregated ear shape based on the wide range of inner-ear impressions received to make our custom fit IEMs. This shape is then smoothed and adjusted by our engineering team to create Cascara's semi-custom fit style that is highly secure and comfortable for hours of wearing.

Cascara's mirror-finish, stainless steel faceplate offers resilient protection for internal components and beautifully contrasts against its blue or black shell.

Campfire's custom MMCX connectors offer durable, long-lasting connection. Easily swap out your cable as needed, worry-free.

Cascara's stainless steel nozzle is resilient to impacts and repeated eartip changes. Increasing longevity in comparison to typical, plastic nozzle earphones.

Frequency response

The below chart represents Cascara's relative volume levels across the frequency spectrum. Frequency response graphs are a valuable tool for getting a general sense of the tuning of an IEM, but cannot represent technical aspects of performance, like detail, timbre, soundstage, resolution, etc.
