Litz wire is a cable construction method, not a single wire type. Instead of one solid conductor, a Litz cable bundles many individually insulated strands together, each one enameled so it carries signal on its own before rejoining the group. That construction reduces skin effect, the tendency of a signal to crowd toward the outer surface of a thick conductor, which can smear detail and soften transients at higher frequencies.

The result is a cable built to carry a cleaner signal from source to earphone with less signal loss and better resolution across the frequency spectrum. Litz construction is not a specialty option in our cable range.
